I've started a nephew, the college this fall, and I wanted to give something to help college life a little. Think again when I went to college, I remembered one of the biggest challenges I had was with the kinds of large conferences.

Personally I think this night vision scope performs great. The first night that I got it I tried it out, and I am pleased with the visibility range and clairty for the most part the unit produces. As someone else said, it has a bubble effect where it has a clear picture, but its alittle bit hazy/distorted on the outside edges (which dosnt make much of a difference at all. It works good with or without the IR illuminator activated (the IR illuminator gives better/brighter picture out past 150 feet, and makes reflective surfaces such as license plates and nocternal animal eyes light up). The unit on a night thats not cloudy and the moon is out can see the advertised distance (600-650 feet) well enough to pick out details in the terrain and people/animals walking around.

Be advised that if you are looking for a night vision unit that can be used as an alternate to a flashlight, this is not the unit for you. Adjusting the two lenses (eye peice and main lense) is alittle tricky, espically if you plan on walking while doing so. The unit is also worthless for viewing anything closer then 10 feet. This night vision unit should be only used for viewing at a mid-range distance while standing still.

Received it promptly from amazon with free shipping. Item is made in Belarus. Instructions are sufficient enough. Please note, you need to purchase the ultra rare N-battery(mostly used for medical devices) - I checked every local store and all did not carry it. I had to buy it from amazon and paid a hefty shipping price because it was a third party.

Let's move on to the goggles. The item is divided into two parts, one is the binocular part the other is the head strap.

The head strap sure looks scary (like something used in the movie SAW) but is easy to put on and adjust. You can adjust the circumference and then the tightness and comes with a chin strap to make it tighter. I have a big head - about 16 inches around, and it fits with a little more room for adjustment. Overall, it should fit almost anyone.

The worst thing I am afraid of the goggle part is the two buttons, these buttons seem like they will be stuck if press to hard, so don't press to hard!

The feel of this item is not the best; it still feels like it's cheap but all I can say right now is it works.

I tried it outdoors at night, ultra pitch dark and it gives a good image. I say the clarity is 8 out of 10. Maybe I could have some better focusing, but I tried and tried and that was the best I can come up with.

For 557 dollars it provides an adquedate use for night vision; I'm sure they are many out there that are even clearer, but you will have to pay an even bigger price.

I'll try to update on this product as time passes.

I bought this on a whim at Christmas, thanks to the positive reviews on Amazon. I wasn't disappointed! My son has played with this almost every day since. It is a bit daunting at first glance. However, the instruction book provides diagrams and pictures that are easy enough for a young child to follow. It would be ideal to sit down with your child and explain how circuits work while building a project together. But its nice to know that he or she can build one with minimal assistance, too. My son was sooo excited when he built the light bulb circuit and saw it light up for the first time! The circuits are fairly sturdy and easy to snap in. Adult assist necessary for supervision but so worth the investment. Best toy ever! Only wish replacements for each circuit were included. There's still plenty to do with lots of other circuits, fan, light, batteries, siren(nice and quiet), etc. My son has learned so much already and thinks he is simply having fun playing! One side note..my nephew apparently has this toy and was not intrigued: he is eight. I am fairly certain that if he were to sit down with parents and start building, forgetting the direction book for a second, he would see the light(literally) and really get into the fun. I'm going to work on it. This is one toy you don't want to miss out on. Don't be intimidated. Look at the pictures and ENJOY!

I needed a microscope for a project and I saw this on sale for 20 bucks, so I bought it.
The Pros:
It is a really amazing product that allows you to magnify any spec of material and dust. Man! I even had an itch on an arm and decided to view the thing with this product to only discover a beautiful-sharp-crystal-like block magnified 200 times on my TV set.
It is powered by 5 AA type batteries and can be plugged on any appliance that accepts a composite video source. ( I have a video capture box, so I connected it to my laptop, which worked like a wonder...now I can correct contrast, hue and the such...
It cost me only .00 so it is fairly inexpensive.
You can have lots of fun with it or explore a new micro world of wonder with your kids, especially on rainy days.
It can help your kids with school projects and the such.
The CONS:
It uses 5 batteries, so it makes you spend on a package of 6, and be left with an occuppied battery...
If I had known about the EyeClops Bionicam, I would have better bought this product because it has many more characteristics.
To focus this thing you have to manually thread-in or thread-out the white eyeball-looking hood that is attached to the camera, making manual focusing difficult.

We bought this nerf gun for our 4 year old nephew for Christmas this year and it was a big hit. Although the gun is pretty big he was still able to hold and shoot the gun just fine and we all loved how you had 35 darts to shoot before running out of ammo. Its a bit hard though to pop out the dart chamber attachment and he needed help every time to get it in and out. The piece of the gun that you pump to reload/fire must be in the correct position for the attachment to come off and reattach smoothly. This gun was used heavily for over a week by four young children (and fun-loving adults!) and did not show any signs of wear or tear yet and we expect it will stand up quite well based on the performance of other nerf items we've bought over the years. We're actually planning on getting one for ourselves to have around for when our nephews come to visit. One small note, this gun is regularly priced for twenty-five dollars at Target and we've seen it on sale twice now for twenty dollars. We've also found this gun with the extra darts (total of 100 darts) for twenty-five dollars at Target so we don't know why the Amazon sellers charge so much. Unless you live somewhere extremely remote try shopping around at some local stores to find a better deal.

I first heard about this toy about a year ago - in articles on EEG and new, creative uses for EEG training (generally referred to as neurofeedback). To be honest, I wasn't aware that it had been released and came across it at Costco, which is currently selling it for just (really)! So, I thought I'd buy one just to fool around with it - especially since I'm quite familiar with neurofeedback and also have my own eeg machine to use of home-training. While the "real" EEG device is far more sophisticated than this toy, I understood the premise behind how the Force Trainer works.

As neurofeedback requires patience and multiple attempts before you can begin driving your own brainwaves (especially since you don't "feel" anything), I was prepared for this to be somewhat difficult. To begin, I let my boy try it out first (kids usually respond quicker than adults, especially at first) and he was able to use "the force" within ten to fifteen minutes - now, he can do it much faster. So, after seeing his success, I gave it a try. Again, it was difficult at first but, with practice, I too was very successful!

I strongly suspect that some of those who have left negative reviews have done so because they honestly don't know what to expect and give up too quickly. At the moment, I'm looking for information on what frequencies are being trained (again, I suspect beta waves - probably those in the low beta range [SMR]). Assuming the SMR (sensory motor rhythm) is being trained, a relaxed but focused state is required. It's also possible that slower brainwaves may also be used by this toy (particualarly alpha waves) as those indicative of a relaxed state. I've got to look around a bit more to find out what the Force Trainer uses for their target brainwave(s). My recommendation is that if you are not having success with this toy, keep trying as you will eventually be successful (and have a lot of fun, once you are).

Bought these for my 6 year old nephew for Christmas. After opening all his gifts, this was the first thing he took out of the box and started playing with. Stop looking at me!" when those bright blue lights blind someone! Of course, the kid wearing the goggles gets a kick out of it either way - whether he's impressing you with how awesome he looks, or blinding you with the lights! LOL! He especially had fun with the goggles outside after dark. His eight year old and twelve year old sisters were both begging him to let him try them on, as well as his eleven year old boy cousin. The goggles were dropped at least three times on the concrete that I know of, and never even flickered. Continued to work just fine, so I would say they are pretty durable, too. Great present.

First, let me say that some people expect more than what technology has to offer. The fact that you can only move the ball up and down with your mind is still a huge step for today's toys!

Those who say the reading is sometimes "off" simply haven't played the game long enough to develop an understanding of how to control the ball. After a few days of playing my kids ages 13, 9, and 6 were able to control the ball well enough to complete the obstacles in a matter of seconds, including my ADHD child.

As for the parts, they only break if you use excessive force while putting them together. All of the pieces fit nicely back into the box, and the game only takes a few seconds to disassemble and return to the box.

For those who say it eats batteries... use better batteries! Mine has been played several hours a day for the past week and the batteries have yet to die.

As for the price, is not too much to ask for one of this year's top toys, but I'm sure it will go down to a more-appropriate - as the hype wears down.

All in all, my kids and I say that this game ROCKS! I am very pleased with the game, and am glad that I bought it!

Once installing batteries, the glow dome base is ready to go with the addition of the inner panel and outer dome, which slide right into place. The only part that can be difficult is holding a starter scene to the inside of the dome while tracing it on the outside. It's easier using the tracing sheets on the inside panel, which lays flat, and drawing freehand on the dome. Once the ideas are flowing, kids may no longer even need to trace to bring inspiring scenes to life.

Cleanup is also a cinch. The two drawing surfaces wipe clean with a little water and cloth or paper towel. When they're all done, kids can tuck the markers away in two compartments on the glow base, making sure they don't get lost.

We ordered this kit for our kids last year for Christmas without knowing much about it. Were we ever pleasantly surprised! It is the greatest! It really made the kids use their imagination to write a story and draw pictures to go along with it. Then we mailed the pages in (in the paid envelope that comes in the kit--excellent idea!). When the books arrived, the kids were so excited and SO proud! We had to order extra copies because they wanted to give one to their teachers (for the library) and to their Grandparents. Also, when you mail the story in for publishing, the postage is free!

Santa left this toy under the tree for my 9-year-old daughter. At first I wasn't sure if she was going to like it, but the next thing I knew she was really playing with it quite a bit, and getting her father involved as well, competing to see who could do the memory games the fastest. She seems to like it quite a lot and so does my husband, and it got a lot of play Christmas morning. It has several different games and skill levels, and didn't take long to figure out even without the instructions. I'm an adult and think this is a great product, especially for the price. I got my first one from Amazon right before Xmas for .98 shipped. I just ordered another one from drugstore dot com for .98 shipped. The unit will not power on if you don't have a live feed going through it - so for those of you who got it and think it's broken, you're wrong. You need to turn on the device you want to project first then turn on the projector and it will work fine - this is smart - saves the lcds for longer life. If you don't like the sound you have the option to hook up speakers to it through the headphone jack. The focus wheel does work - you just need to move it very slowly - once you get the focus to where you like it, leave it alone. Of course if you move the projector or make the image bigger or smaller, you'll need to focus again. You can project it on the wall, but the texture/color on the wall won't give you the best picture - you can do one of 2 things I tried that work great - goto Michaels with your 40% off coupon and get a white glue board (about .50) and use that as your screen - better yet, get a 24 x 36 poster frame - take out the plastic shield and reverse the paper inside that comes with it so it's on the white side and then put the frame back on - voila - you now have a white screen you can hang on the wall anywhere for very cheap price. I've done both and it really helps give the picture/projector justice.
You need to realize that this is NOT a professional projector, however,...it's lcd (no bulb to replace ever, and you'll get plenty of life out of it), very portable, excellent value, and if you get creative about how to make the picture look more clear/visible you'll be very happy with it. This projector isn't just for kids - there are many uses for it (holiday image projections, effects, project dvd movie on back seat of car, etc...). I don't work for Jakks Pacific, but I do like that they put a cool little device like this on the market for a reasonable price. Oh,....I watch tv on my ceiling every night - the picture is clear - the room just needs to be completely dark. For those of you who whine about it, you're just not setting it up right or you expect dlp resolution from it which isn't realistic for what you paid!

This is a great toy AND a useful tool for recording close-up images of a variety of objects. It has several limitations that I've learned to partially overcome. The worst one is poor performance on dark objects. Easier to correct is focusing problems.

I like to use it on rock and mineral samples, even though that is a difficult application. Lighting is the problem. For transperant objects, it is easy to put them on a glass plate or microscope slide and illuminate them from below using a small lamp, reflected sunlight, etc. Experiment and you'll find something that works. For dark opaque objects I've had some luck focusing in light from the side. I've got a spare eyeclops, so I'm planning to drill a strategically located hole in the "eyeball" to snake in a small battery powered white LED (available for - at hardware stores, flea markets, etc.) Tests with the outer eyeball unscrewed suggest that this will help a good deal.

Lighting is the key to good use of a microscope, so experiment with different light sources, lighting from different angles, etc.

Focus is easy - a tip follows. Depth of field is always shallow at high magnification. Vary the orientation of the object to get it "flat" to the focal plane, take multiple images focused at different depths, etc. Low magnification gives more depth of field, so examine objects at 100X before trying 200X or 400X. 200x is usually a better bet than 400X for most subjects.

Finally, the focusing tip: Place the subject on a sturdy flat surface (tabletop, glass plate, etc.). I'll call the flat surface a "stage". Screw the eyeball in a little so that it is focused slightly too close. Sit the eyeclops down on the stage, centered over the subject, and TILT the eyeclops slightly, resting an edge of the eyeclop's flat eyeball face on the stage. Obviously, as you tilt the eyeclops, you are moving the center hole where the camera is located slightly upwards, away from the subject. If the focus is SLIGHTLY too close, this movement will bring the subject into focus. Changing the tilt slightly will shift the focal plane through the depth of a 3-D object. Resting the eyeball edge on the stage will also steady the eyeclops and reduce hand shake.

Once this simple trick is grasped, it can be adapted to a variety of situations, sometimes with the aide of an improvised stage such as a stiff sheet of plastic with a small hole in it, etc.

The "tilt" trick is also easy for a child to learn and should make the eyeclops easier to master and less frustrating to use.

With the camera's ergonomically shaped handle in one hand, you can focus on any number of everyday objects--such as coins, fabric, your pet's fur, or your own hair and skin. The magnified images appear in real time and full color on the LCD screen. Below the screen, you'll find easy to use buttons that allow you to navigate the menu, select video or photo options, review your gallery, and delete unwanted images.

A zoom dial offers either 100x, 200x or 400x magnification. To focus an image, twist the I.R.I.S. lens attachment until you achieve the results you're looking for. Getting a crisp image takes a little patience at first, especially at the highest magnification. But with practice and with the help of the easy-to-read focusing gauge, you'll be focusing the lens in no time.

Photos and Video Without Complicated Setup

We've had a lot of fun using this activity kit with our EyeClops BioniCam. (By the way, I highly recommend getting that specific version of the toy because it operates untethered from a TV screen, unlike the original EyeClops Bionic Eye Multizoom.)

This activity kit contains 8 sheets of paper with microprinted text and images on it. Using the BioniCam, you are led through treasure hunts, jokes and fact-finding. The Bionicam is potentially educational, but this specific activity kit is really just a fun diversion that gives you something to look at with the Bionicam. Bringing the microscopic images into view is pretty cool though.

I can see how some reviewers would think this kit was a waste of money. There's room here for personal preference and I agree that the kits were originally overpriced. I'd rate this at ten bucks' worth of fun, so if you can get it at a reasonable price, I'd say go for it.

I would not recommend this kit as a travel activity. We have not tried it out in a car or airplane but I have a feeling that the vibration would make it either impossible or headache-inducing to read the magnified microtext. Also, the EyeClops itself is pretty bulky and seems a bit fragile. But we are enjoying the camera and activity kit over summer vacation.

This is an excellent product that is a lot of fun for many ages. Thanks to this unit we have an active club going strong. Forgive the long review, but this unit deserves it in my mind.

Pros
Fun - It is a blast, especially in groups. This really is for adults as well as kids, and if you get a group of people together to do this, you will have a blast. There are many videos of people playing with this and previous generations on Youtube. Search 'Phoenix LTX', 'Tagfest', 'Lazer Tag Team Ops', and you'll probably find a lot.

Range - These taggers (guns) have a range of about 350-400 feet, maybe further (maybe a bit less in bright sun).

Features - These taggers have several features to enhance the playability. a) 10 or 25 tags - you can set a switch to set your 'life' at 10 or 25 tags. This can help balance some scenarios where differences in numbers or age/experience might make things unfair. b) Indoor/outdoor mode - this helps reduce the sensitivity of the receivers - reduces splash damage you get while playing inside. The IR signal can reflect off walls and make it pretty easy to take hits, even around corners and off your clothing. c) Accessory connectors for more options (see below) d) Realistic reload - you drop a fake 'clip' out of the bottom of the grip, much like an ammo clip. e) realistic recoil - there is a hammer that lights up and pops out a little with each shot, and also a vibration with each shot/hit that add to the experience.

Accessories - There is already a shotgun attachment developed, as well as a green dot site. These slide on to connectors on the tagger to give additional capabilities. There are also rumors of more weapon attachments in the pipeline. There was also a video game accessory to let you play 1 player vs. the computer on a TV, but it was pretty useless, and you probably won't see that any more. If you play with the older LTTO style taggers, you can actually join games hosted by the older taggers.

Exercise - Depending on your gameplay style, you can get as much exercise out of it as you want. The range on these guns is hundreds of feet (a bit less in full sunlight), so you can easily get winded running around inside the playable area.

Eductional - I know - it's a shooter game... but it teaches basic strategy, tactics, and teamwork, and even the younger kids are starting to pick up some of these concepts.

Durability/Battery life (cost of ownership) - The taggers (guns) are very rugged - if you compare the cost of the system with a commercial lazer tag rental facility- you will make your money back in a couple of sessions of playing, and these taggers last a long time. We are still using all of the taggers we bought over the year, though some of them are developing glitches. Battery life is also very good - even with rechargeables (which seem to be a little less effective, but much cheaper in the long run), the batteries will last several sessions of playing.

Online Communities - Very active online community (there's several newsgroups including an active one on Yahoo, search for 'Lazer Tag Team Ops'). The user community and the available technical information on the web opens the door for tech-minded to tear them down and 'mod' them to give them additional features. You may have to solder some stuff, clip some wires, or similar, but some of this is pretty cool. Even me, the solder-novice - has gotten into this a little bit with a few minor mods.

Interaction with others - You can play team-based games of 2 teams. The largest game we had was 36 players at once and it was a bit chaotic, but fun.

Cons -

Can't change the brightness of the LEDs - these are EXTREMELY bright while playing at night, and not only can this effect your aiming, but it gives away your position. We find 2 layers of scotch tape colored with black sharpie work well to dim it down a bit.

Joining hosted games is painful - Mostly a complaint about interacting with older taggers - joining LTTO hosted games is clunky at best.

Lack of Attachments - This is not a failing in the unit, but this particular packaging. This set is a re-offering of the original LTX, which came out last year, but this set has been rebranded under the Nerf brand. Unlike last year's model, this set is sold without the green dot sight and 'shot blast' attachment (at a lower price, granted). I believe it's their intention to sell the attachments separately, but they are not on shelves yet. In this economy, that may not happen if the interest in the line doesn't improve. That would be a complete shame, since this is one of the coolest 'toys' I've ever played with.

Having purchased this previously, I can attest that the game is a refreshing alternative to all of the electronic toys on the market, but "frustration-free" packaging may not be the best choice in all cases--especially for tots who could use some color and perhaps an illustration to: 1. attract them to the contents of the plain brown box; and 2. to give them some idea of what to do with what's inside the plain brown box. Even in trying to explain the aforementioned to the cooperating adult giver, I found myself experiencing some frustration in conveying the precise nature of the item and justifying the expense of the anonymous gift for the grand-kids. Thinking it over, I'd pay extra for the conventional retail box--at least until modern ingenuity figures out a way of combining an easy-to-open box with an attractive, descriptive design on the cover.

But hold on! There's a solution--sort of--since Amazon includes a picture of the conventional box on the sales page. Simply print out a blown-up version of the picture and paste it on the frustration-free package. It's not a perfection workaround, but at least it prevents the substitution of one frustration by another. What you're left with falls less into the category of "frustration" than "aggravation."

[Let me add that I have nothing against Amazon exacting a "surcharge" on the plastic, neon, "frustration-provoking" version of a product. There are always those occasions when, as human beings, we choose to sin, knowing full well that a price is to be paid.]

This thing is a lot of fun. My 8yo son got it for his birthday and han't stopped playing with it. He made buildings out of the boxes and styrofoam from his other toys, and when you drive the tank around them it looks like a city through the viewfinder. The remote range is suprisingly long; he can drive it in our downstairs living room from his upstairs bedroom. My only issue is the camera...the image quality is similar to a late 90's baby monitor. I would have paid more for a better camera, especially color. Overall, a recommended buy.

My mother got this for my 4.5 year old this year on my recommendation. I am very impressed.

The design is simple. The eyeclops unit has the eye, a "brain" power pack which takes 5 AA batteries, and a cord which plugs into the yellow composite input on your TV, all connected (the cord doesn't come off, so it can't be lost). The white part of the eye - the "iris" they call it, screws on and off of the unit itself, allowing you to adjust the focal length of whatever you are putting the eyeclops up against. The idea is that you put the eyeclops in direct contact with what you want to look at and adjust the "iris" to focus it. It also comes with a petrie style dish and a tube you can use to look at liquids and other messy things.

The picture is amazing for a gadget like this. I hooked it up to my 1080p 52" HDTV and was very happy with the images, though that size TV is perhaps slightly large for the resolution it outputs, its certainly quite viewable. It looks equally cool on my 32" CRT.

Operationally speaking, its easy to use, there is only one button - on/off, but it does take a gentle touch to find the right distance for the camera to focus, as it has a fixed focal length. However, as an adult I had no problem doing this, my 4.5 year old does not have the fine motor skills to do this well, however, from the look on her face and the long list of things she keeps bringing to look at it, its not a big deal that she needs my help with it. If you do buy this for a preschooler, be prepared to play cameraman.

Technicalities out of the way, the concept is soooo cool. I played with it for 2 hours by myself when I first hooked it up! The magnification is amazing, I can see individual hairs on my cheek, fibers on my arm I can't tell are there, the individual fibers (not threads) that make up my sofa, etc. A great tool for talking to the kids about how things are made up, and to allow them to explore their world. My childhood self is seriously jealous. We have had a blast finding different things to look at and my 2 year old now says 'Ew GROOOOOSSSS!' every time.

The gun also has a single-shot mode that lets you shoot with extra precision. Rather than battery powered, you have to pull back on a spring-loaded lever, and then use the trigger release lever to shoot the dart. In our experience, you can achieve a little bit more distance this way than with the auto-fire mode.

I purchased this for a girl's fifth birthday, but it was a hit with everyone involved at the party, from 5 years old to 40 years old. The other reviews are correct to mention the poor focusing ability and that there's too much reflectivity on light colored objects. The clarity when you get things in focus (which isn't TOO hard on 100x and 200x) is amazing, even on an older SD television. It's not an amazing microscope, but it's perfectly capable. What it looses in quality, it more than makes up for in accessibility and fun.

im a music gadget fan from many decades ago. this thing is 100% cool. it now sits right by many high dollar toys(korg kp3, kaossalator, roland 404 sampler, suzuki q chord)
another wesley willis idea from beyond.
very easy to operate,consisting of four banks, with three loops in each bank, each loop activated by pressing the corresponding button, you can use one loop per bank at a time, for a max of 4 loops and a sample to be used at one time. if i had to guess id say they have they have at least 50 loops or more that you can upload to they unit via the included usb. the loops range from rock, hip hop, country, and pop. from simple guitar licks, to 808 drum machine, to funky bass, to percussion,to organ and even sum banjo! and it does they timing for you, maybe the best part is they effect knob thing, when you press it it lights up blue, and makes the sound change, depending on the effect you have selected, from a couple of different delays, an echo, to flanger, to distortion, it alsp has pitch control or as some know it bpm. and then there is the sample function, which is 4 or 5 seconds, and it stores two at a time, you can loop the sample, or activate it by pressing the button.
the the portal of sounds couldnt be easier to use,simple drag and place. it also allows you to record your performance, up to 2 minutes and 30 seconds., and the songs can be pasted into media player and burned. when using good headphones, the sound quality from the machine is excellent(you really hear bass!). i have burned a couple songs from the ucreate, and played it on a couple different cd players, and was very suprised at the quality; im hoping they will give us more loops in the future, as the sampler is not as good of quality as the loops. truth is, put this thing in a better housing, allow custom loops to transfer, and a few more inputs and outputs(rca, 1/4, midi) and this thing could do some serious music.
but for what it is, and the age group intended for, you couldnt ask for anything more. i have said it many times, but never meant it this much, IF ONLY THEY HAD THAT WHEN I WAS A KID!!

The Digital Microscope set requires three AA batteries (not included). A screwdriver is needed to open up the battery cover, and after they are installed, pushing the on/off button turns on the necessary light.

We put in the prepared slide of a flower petal and turned the focusing ring until we saw it show up in the microscope as a pretty random pattern of spiked edges. With three magnification levels at 100x, 300x, and 900x, we were able to take three distinct looks at the petal.

Although the microscope provided loads of fun, we did notice a couple shortcomings. First, the eyepiece of the microscope was very small, making it difficult to peer into and, second, although made out of metal, the base still felt slightly unstable. Nonetheless, these minor issues certainly did not prevent us from using the microscope, but did detract slightly from the overall user experience.

Web Cam Lets You Connect Microscope to Computer
Included in the Digital Microscope Kit is a web cam that can be used to observe large objects that don't fit under the microscope. In addition, by simply screwing on an adapter and installing the included software, you can connect the web cam directly onto the top of the microscope, letting you see the microscopic images on your computer screen. This is, of course, a toy microscope so we didn't expect professional results, but we still wish that the images on screen could have been a little clearer. Additionally, because there is a split-second delay to send the information from the microscope to the computer, it can be difficult to focus.

Once connected to your computer, you can take photos and capture videos of all everything you are looking at under the microscope by simply clicking a button.

With the images you save, you can easily create calendars, cards, and other projects. Since the software includes templates, creating a project book is as easy as dragging and dropping images into the predefined spaces.
